About Dr. Kim T. Hovanky
Specializing in adult and pediatric allergy,
Dr. Hovanky opened her office in Georgetown in March 1998. She is
certified by both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the
American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hovanky is a graduate of the
University of Texas at Austin, received the Doctor of Medicine degree
from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and Amarillo,
completed a three-year residency at Texas A&M University / Scott & White
Hospital and Clinic in Temple, and a two-year fellowship in Allergy and
Immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Hovanky is on staff at Georgetown Hospital, Round Rock Hospital, St.
David's Hospital, and North Austin Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. Hovanky is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and
Immunology, and a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and
Immunology. She is an active member of the Texas Allergy, Asthma and
Immunology Society, the American College of Physicians, the Texas
Medical Association, and the Williamson County Medical Society. Dr.
Hovanky is also a member of the American Medical Association and since
1993 has annually received their prestigious Physician's Recognition Award for
continuing medical education.
